I like the notion of not feeding the beast. I have heard good things about Astro, will take a deeper look.

I wonder if there might be some incremental migration strategy that would be an acceptable way out. But then again teams have already invested so much effort into their design systems and component libraries - rebuilding from scratch would be a prohibitive cost.

I guess any framework in longer-term creates an impossible situation, where too much effort has already been invested to make transition to a different toolset painless.

Anyhow, let's keep each other updated on thoughts for how to move away from React ecosystem.
