Thanks for your feedback. You are right, the child component shouldn’t really be aware of the parent machine and my examples could be more autonomous.

I having been working with child machines for a few months now and I am quite happy with consistency. Having React deal with connecting machines IMO introduces a number of other issues you can avoid by having child machines.
